Opulent and bold Bolgheri. Deep, dark ruby in colour. On the nose you get plum, cherry, cassis and a hint of vanilla. On the palate you get ripe black fruit, some earthy notes, tobacco, silky smooth tannins – but for me lacking structure (would have liked more acidity to balance the rich fruit flavours). Medium finish.
