I was expecting more.
Light ruby color. The nose is rather simple with modest red cherry and earthy notes. The palate lacks depth – thin fruit expression and slightly green tannins don’t come together well. Short finish. Unfortunately, this wine doesn’t deliver the elegance you hope for from a good German Pinot Noir.
