Finca Piedra Infinita Supercal 2017

High-altitude intensity – but I was expecting more. Deep purple with inky depths. The nose is an array of black fruits, violets, and mineral notes. On the palate, it’s bold and intense, with flavors of blackberry and plum complemented by hints of graphite and herbs. The high-altitude vineyards shine through in the wine’s freshness and minerality. While the tannins are firm and the acidity bright, there’s a sense that it doesn’t quite reach its full potential. The finish is long.
