Gonzalez-Byass
Alfonso Oloroso Seco
Serious, structured Oloroso (ignore my star rating if you love Sherry, it reflects my preference, not the quality of the wine) Deep amber with intense aromas of roasted nuts, dried fruit, and spice. The palate is dry and warming, with oxidative complexity, medium acidity and a long, nutty finish. Technically impressive, but I’m not drawn to this style—Sherry fans will rate it more highly.
