A decent English sparkling wine that shows the potential of Britain’s emerging wine regions.
Pale gold with persistent fine bubbles. Clean nose of green apple, lemon and subtle bread notes. The palate offers moderate concentration with crisp orchard fruits, citrus and a chalky mineral character. High acidity provides good structure, though it could use a touch more depth. The finish is clean with adequate length and a pleasant citrus pith quality, making for an enjoyable if not particularly complex sparkling wine.
