An okay Californian Pinot.
Medium ruby color. Moderate nose of red cherry, strawberry and subtle spice. The palate shows adequate fruit concentration with red berries, a touch of cola and gentle oak influence. Medium-minus body with soft tannins and sufficient acidity to maintain balance. The finish is clean but somewhat brief, lacking the complexity and layered character found in more accomplished Sonoma Coast Pinots, though it remains a perfectly acceptable introduction to the style.
