A lighter Bordeaux-style blend from Stellenbosch.
Deep ruby color. The nose shows black currant and red plum with subtle herb and cedar notes. The palate is smooth offering dark and red fruits, medium(-) tannins and fresh acidity typical of cooler Stellenbosch sites. Medium length finish with warm fruit and vanilla notes. A versatile and crowed pleasing South African blend.
