Good example of this serious Beaujolais cru.
Deep ruby color. Good nose offering black cherries, violets, and light spice. The palate delivers nice concentration with dark fruit, proper structure from the granitic soil, and fine-grained tannins. Medium+ acidity keeps things fresh. Clean finish with good length. [Tasted en primeur in Jan 2024]
