Silvano Bolmida
Le Coste di Monforte 2018
Structured and age-worthy Barolo with depth and polish. Medium ruby with floral, tar and cherry aromas. On the palate, this shows sour cherry, orange peel, dried herbs and earthy undertones with high acidity and firm, grippy tannins. Oak is well-integrated. Long, persistent finish with power and balance. Very good now with decanting, but built for ageing.
