A serious Languedoc.
Deep ruby. Generous nose of black fruits, garrigue herbs, licorice and subtle leather. The palate offers good concentration with blackberry, plum and Mediterranean herbs, underpinned by earthy notes and well-integrated oak. Full-bodied with firm but rounded tannins and sufficient acidity to provide balance. Finishes with good length, showing warming spice and a pleasing mineral streak.
