Well-made, elegant Pommard, but I was expecting more.
Medium ruby with a reserved nose of red cherry, spice and earth. The palate is well balanced, with medium tannins and good acidity supporting fresh red fruit and herbal notes. Finishes a bit lean, suggesting it could open up with a few more years. Shows promise, but not quite ready.
