I was hoping for more.
Deep purple color. The nose impresses with blackcurrant, cedar, and mountain herbs. The palate delivers good concentration – rich black fruits and subtle oak are framed by firm mountain tannins and fresh acidity. Alright finish with persistent fruit. Shows the power and structure of high-elevation Napa Cab but given the reputation, I had higher expectations.
